My Appointment With Myself

After thinking, thinking and thinking, here I am talking to myself so that others can understand what I talk to myself and hear it.

I am still thinking, why I was thinking for so long, when I always knew that I love writing. Still no answers for this chain of thinking. I think and I am convinced that this is a mistake people of our generation often make. They think and keep thinking for something and in the process it getting evaporated in the heat of time. Mistake , yes that is what it is. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and continue to do so.

Mistakes - We all make them, sometimes if we are lucky an eraser will do the trick. We can rub it across the page and wipe it out, as a result whatever is left is a hardly noticeable
smudge.

Not all the mistakes can be erased, no matter how old or young we are.

When I sit and look back towards my life (Only 30 years) I found that there were occasions when I should have done something or said something, but I choose a different path to trudge and the result is that I repent making those mistakes now. But is that of any use??? Those mistakes still haunt me and I think it will continue to haunt me till the time I am alive.

The basic question is why we make mistakes in life, answer is.......I don't know. Perhaps that's how God has made us.

Living is a serious business that requires both wit and wisdom, lest we are caught unawares by the unpredictable turn of events. In a world beset with trails and tribulations, survival of the fittest is a rigorous rule that we have to follow in letter and spirit. No doubt life offers many a chance to those who are physically and mentally prepared to cash in on them. There are number of challenges as well that confronts and confuse us at every every step as we pass from one stage to the other. Life is not a bed of roses, nor is it a sweet song that is offered to us on a platter. Opportunities and obstacles come side by side and unless we keep our eyes and ears open, we are likely to fell into a trap and flutter like en caged birds. In order to make the best of each moment that we live, we have got to be on our toes all the time because life demands vigilance and valour from those who mean business and are determined to make a mark on the moving sand of time and tide.

Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of a filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained, "All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing."

Edison replied very confidently, "Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We know that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb."
